The NordForsk kick-off for the Nordic Centre of Excellence Programme in Welfare Research 2007-2011 will take place in Helsinki Finland 24 August.
The main objective of the seminar is to present the two Nordic Centres of Excellence:
- Reassessing the Nordic Welfare Model
Co-ordinator: Prof. Bjørn Hvinden, Head of Research at NOVA, Oslo
- The Nordic Welfare State - Historical Foundations and Future Challenges
Co-ordinator: Prof. Paul Kettunen, University of Helsinki
Introduction by Director Liisa Hakamies-Blomqvist, NordForsk
Key-note speech by Prof. Jonathan Bradshaw, Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board
The seminar will take place 24 August, 13.30-16.00
