PhD Course: Academic Writing

We are pleased to announce a new Reassess PhD Course: Academic Writing in English given by Natalie Reid. The course will take place in Oslo 19-23 May 2008. Reassess will cover the cost and accommodation of participants. Application deadline is 14 March.

Natalie Reid will give the course Academic Writing for Nordic PhD students who wish their work to be published in international English journals and to be read by a wide English-speaking audience. Natalie Reid has given similar courses to researchers in a number of Nordic research institutes and the participants have found the courses extremely helpful and inspiring for their own work.

The deadline for applications to participate in the PhD course is 14 March 2008. Applications should include a short CV and a proposal for a journal article (title and 500 words abstract). The selection of participants will be completed by 7 April 2008.

The course will give 5 credit points
