RECWOWE Doctoral Workshop

The programme consists of lectures presented by staff members, presentations by doctoral students and discussion on their research plans. The registration will be launched in April 2008 on the RECWOWE website http://recwowe.vitamib.com/
The joint organisers are Stakes and the University of Tampere, with Jussi Simpura, Stakes, and Anneli Anttonen, University of Tampere, as the workshop leaders. Staff members include Brigit Pfau-Effinger, Caroline de la Porte, Tine Rostgaard, Marta Szebehely, and Teppo Kröger. The venue will be Stakes (National Research and Development Centre for Welfare and Health), a 15 minutes´ walk from the city centre in Helsinki.
Those who are interested may consider a continuation of their stay in Helsinki in order to attend the ESPAnet annual conference 2008 to be held on September 18-20. The topic of the conference is "Cross-border influence in social policy". See the website www.etk.fi/espanet2008 for information.
