Short summary:
This strategic Institute engagement will provide a basis for further research on the child protection service system. The developement of this basis will be done during the first part of 2005. However some areas and questions to be explored are allready identified. One area of research will be the daily activities within child protection system. Another aim is to study the diversities among children and families who are in contact with child protection. The negotiations within the child protection service and between child protection and the family that result in being a child with the child protection service will be an area of research. Another will be the impact of the experts on the child protection service. Comparative studies between countries - what are the possibilities and what are the restrictions concerning comparing experiences with the child protection service between countries?
